The Santoku

Sorry, this may be crass but I have to crow about our most recent gift, received and used for the first time last night, our Ken Onion Santoku knife. Cutting with it is like moving a spoon through thin molasses, it is such a smooth and clean cut. I ran it along my arm and it shaved off the arm hair ... knives never do that. It makes cutting a pineapple easier than writing a letter. Its ridiculous and beautiful and I love, love, love it ...
