So listening to my favorite podcast (
Hardcore History by Dan Carlin - fantastic, highly recommended to all history buffs) while I was crunching some data today and the narrator mentioned a company called Albion swords, which makes incredible historical reproductions of Western swords. I spent some time looking at the website - and I am drooling. The accuracy of the weapons seems incredible, and they look beautiful. Plus they have weapons from a number of historical periods, longswords from across the middle ages, roman gladii, falchions and other curved or one-sided blades, some two-handed weapons - fantastic. Too bad they are around 1000 - 2000$ each ... still, I can dream can't I ...
