Fahnestock in the Fall
Clarence Fahnestock State Preserve is a beautiful park sitting on the Putnam / Dutchess county line, about an hour north of us. I have been there a couple of times in the past, last year Cheo and I had an epic hike up Round Hill in the eastern section of the park, just after the massive 2011 October snowstorm. And Aviva and I went on a memorable hike there with Rachel, Larry and Dylan a couple of years ago ... we ended up getting lost and having to hitchhike back to the car ...
